Airbrushes

The Harder & Steenbeck range consists of various models of airbrushes. From simple to extra advanced. For example, there are the Harder & Steenbeck “Ultra”, “Evolution” and “Infinity”. Which are extremely suitable for model making.

CRplus:

Airbrushes with the CRplus technology have a triple coating of copper, nickel and high-gloss chrome exterior finish. It not only has an elegant appearance, but also offers maximum protection. These CRplus airbrushes are ideal for users with a nickel allergy or users who have problems with the oxidation (“tarnish”) of nickel materials due to hand sweating.

Needles:

The Harder & Steenbeck airbrush needles are made of stainless steell and are available in different sizes of 0.15, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6. A thin needle is used to airbrush small areas and when you using airbrush paint with “difficult” pigments. You use a large needle for spraying large surfaces, such as model airplanes and model ships. From now on, the first models of airbrush guns are delivered with a simple marking system to easily see which type of needle / cap / nozzle can be combined.

PTFE:

The innovative, durable needle seal and PTFE seals on the paint cup screw connection and on the valve also provide reliable protection against unwanted air and paint leaks even when using solvent-based paints.

Paint cup:

The Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes are available with various paint cups. Depending on the model, you can choose a 2 ml and 5 ml paint cup and a side cup set. Lids are available for the various paint cups.

Needlecap:

Harder & Steenbeck has various needlecaps in its range. So you have the open needle cap which makes cleaning the needle easy. This open-air cap also protects the needle against impact and damage. There is also a distance cap available. You use this for drawing lines along, for example, a ruler. Quick Fix: The Harder & Steenbeck Infinity airbrush series includes standard a

Quick Fix option:

This Quick Fix option makes it perfectly possible to control the paint flow. With a rotary knob on the back of the airbrush you can set the amount of paint volume control on the basis of scale 1-6. By pulling out the knob, the limit is temporarily canceled. This is ideal for cleaning and spraying the airbrush.

Cleaning:

The Harder & Steenbeck are easy and precise to clean. Most parts can be disassembled, making cleaning the airbrush gun easy. We also supply a complete cleaning set for cleaning your airbrush gun. A real Must Have.

Air supply:

To supply the airbrush with air, you need a hose set between the airbrush and compressor. These are available in various versions. For example, you can choose an air hose with woven protection or a plastic / PVC air hose. The woven variant has the advantage that it is very flexible and robust and this hose cannot kink, so it is also more durable. The air hose sets are available with various coplings so that the airbrush can easily be connected to a compressor.

Resistance regulation:

Some Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes have the option to adjust the resistance of the operating lever, allowing you to set the airbrush to your personal preference.

Double action:

All Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes are double action airbrush guns. This means that you control both the air supply and the paint supply simultaneously with a control lever. By pressing the lever you determine the amount of air and by pulling the lever back you determine the amount of paint.

Compressor:

To be able to airbrush well you need a good compressor. There are, for example, air-cooled compressors and oil-cooled compressors. The air-cooled compressors are suitable for short-term use of the airbrush and generally make a little more noise. Oil-cooled compressors, on the other hand, are extremely suitable for long-term consecutive use. Furthermore, these oil-cooled compressors make less noise. In addition, compressors are distinguished by having an air tank or not. An air tank has the great advantage that the compressor is not on all the time during airbrushing and the air pressure is more constant.
